Best Answer

155, free ball then black, then a 147 break 15 reds, 15 blacks, yellow, green, brown, blue, pink, black. This is only technically the highest break, it is very rare. 147 is usually the magic number.

16 points to 8 is the minimum. Player A pots all 15 reds in 1 shot but fouls...player B is on 4pts. Player B does not pot. Player A pots yellow and green...misses. B pots brown and misses. A pots blue and pink...does not attempt black as has won by 16 pts to 8. Aaron Jagger 14051979 Birmingham.

Fifteen Reds, Fifteen Blacks & all the colours would yield a break of 147, but if a foul is committed before any balls have been potted & a free ball is awarded a break of 158 is possible..

147 is the highest score made in competition. 155 is the highest that has been made in practice. See related link for more information.
