For a round of golf, the net score for a player is their gross score minus their handicap. The net score for one hole is the gross for the hole, minus the strokes allowed for the hole. The stroke index for the hole and the players handicap is used to determine how many strokes you get, and on which holes.
Par is the average. Used very often about golf strokes taken for a certain hole. A par 3 hole is a hole where the average number of strokes to complete is 3.
A hole in one
No there is no limit for strokes on any hole. However, if you shoot more than 10 on any hole, my suggestion is pack it up and go home coz you've already lost!

Par for the hole is three strokes. In regulation, that is one tee shot, and two putts.
You would get a score of one. This would make you 2 under par for that particular hole. Your current score would depend how many strokes it took to complete whole one and two to give your current score at the end of that hole.
63 strokes
It is admitting that you cannot beat or equal your opponents score, no further strokes will be played on that hole.
