How do you remove Chevy Tahoe 1998 door panel?

Open the door, where the outside rearview mirror is attached to the door is a plastic panel roughly in the shape of a triangle. Gently pry this off so as not to break the pin holding it on. All the pins that hold the door panel and the piece i just discussed are made of plastic and are probably an inch long. toward the end of these plastic pins are fins these fins are what keep the pins in place. Also ther are two metal screws in the hand grip that you close the door with you will need a Philips head for this. You can use an flat head screw driver to pry with but be careful you must pry next to where the pins are located or you will break the door panel. Start down at the bottom of the door panel and pry up to loosen the pins from the door frame. Dont try to fully remove the pin from the from door loosen one a little bit then go to the next when the bottom is halfway loose you should hold out on the bottom of the panel with your hand and begin to pry the pins up on both sides of the panel. If you don't hold out on the bottom of the panel while you are doing this the bottom pins will go back in. once all the pins are loosend you will have to lift the panel straight up because the top of the panel is formed into an upside down U and it slides between the door frame and the window. once the door panel is loose from the frame don't pull it away the doorlock and window control wires are still attached to the panel. You can use a small screw driver to loosen up the snaps that are keeping these wires connected to the push buttons. Please add to these instructions but i am pretty sure i nailed all the steps. hope this helps somebody.

How do you remove the inside door panel on a 1997 Saturn Wagon?

The inside door panel cannot be removed; instead, to get to the inner workings of the door remove the OUTER panel. Lift the outer door handle to expose the pins that hold the outer handle to the door mechanism. Then press out the pins and remove the handle. Then remove the screws around the perimeter of the door that hold the outer panel. The panel should lift off, exposing all of the inner workings, then you can verify that the inner panel does NOT come off.
