It is used as one of your 3 hits in volleyball. You get 3 chances to try to get the ball back over the net. To pass, you stick your arms straight out and keep them flat. You make a fist with on hand and wrap your other hand around the side of it. Another way to pass is to put both of your hands flat and facing up. Place one of your hands on top of the other one and curve both of your thumbs inward and keep them together.

Your "digger" is basically your passer. Or your libero. Then play back and have everyones short ball. But on a regular ball they will pass it either to left front or right front for them to set up and get a kill. Hope I helped:)

A pass is what some people call a "bump".

put your dominent hand fingers in your other hand, then fold to where your thumbs are next to eachother and no other fingers are hanging out.

Now, when the ball comes to you.. put your hands in the above position, get under the ball, bend your knees then extend your knees so between your wrist and forearm make contact with the ball. the ball should go up and the direction your shoulders are aligned.

pass to the setter so they can set the hitter(s)
