Each league sets a Number that would be higher than every bowler in the League.
Then you subtract your average. Then you multiply it buy a percent set up by the league, usually around 90%. The result is a persons handicap. All remanders are dropped not rounded.
Example: 200-180 average= 20 * 90%= 18
in this case the persons handicap would be 18
