It really depends on your age and weight. But if you're in reasonably good shape and run on a regular basis, I would say in about 9-10 minutes. The military requires women to run a mile in 10 minutes and they are pretty fit.
Completely depends on height, weight, stride-length, and athletic condition... I ran track from 7th grade through 12th (I'm 23 yrs old now) - so I might not have the most up-to-date insight:
An average, acceptable mile time in a competetive environment is in the 7 - 7.5 minute range. Anything from 8 - 9 minutes is not ideal for competition, but still healthy! :-)
6.5 - 7 minutes is great.
6 - 6.5 is exceptional.
Anything below a 6 minute mile for women means they are in top physical condition, and have a ton of stamina. :-) If a girl runs a mile in the 5 minute range, they are capable of breaking school records. My best mile time ever was a 6:42. Around average for a junior high meet.
5:00 - 6:00 will give you respect from average people.
The fastest mile ever run was 3 minutes 43 seconds.
Just under 59 minutes.
It depends on the person. On one hand, a person has run a mile in 3minutes 43.13seconds . On the other hand, a lot of people can't run a mile at all.
Anything under 8:08
A 10-minute time over a kilometer equates to a time of 16 minutes 5.6 seconds for 1.0 mile.
If your goal is a 11 min. mile and a half, your mile time should be about 7:33.
A squirrel can run a mile in approx. 25 minutes
You have to maintain an average speed of 13.64 mph to achieve a 4 minute 24 second-mile time.
It depends on how fast the kid naturally runs. If they run really fast, it might be a 60 second half mile. If they run slow, it might be a 2-3 minute mile
At my school it's 9:02 which is fairly easy if u run a lot hope this helps
Run every day. Monday, run 1/2 mile, jog 1/2 mile. Tuesday, run 1 mile, jog 1 mile, and so on.
