27 seconds is a great time for a 50 freestyle. your time also depends on wether your a competitive swimmer or not if you are not you should be! dats a pretty good time! check usaswimming.com for the a, aa, aaa, aaaa times if your a competitive swima!
I think that a good time for a fifty ding a 50 free is around 40 to 50 seconds I could be wrong though
A good time depends on a lot of different things. Like how long the event is and how old you are. If you are thinking of only a 50 yard freestyle (down and back in 25 yard pool) a good time for a high school swimmer would be between 23 seconds-25 seconds. A great time is between 20 seconds- 22 seconds. If you are a college swimmer however a good time would be about 20-21 and a great time is around 18-20 (phelps does around a 16-17)
there wasn't a 50 meter freestyle event in the 1964 Olympics. Only 100 meters.
Well, it depends on how hard and how many times a week they train. I have a 10 year old brother who swims 50 metres freestyle in 33 seconds, but he is a regional qualifier and is rather good for his age.
