The endline is the boundry line in which each goal sits on.... the sideline are the lines that run across the side in which throw ins are used... the endline ends up witha goal kick or a corner
If any person from the team, not just the defender hits the ball past any endline (side line or touch line), then it is a throw in for the other team
A goal kick happens when the other team (The team on offense) kicks the ball out over your endline.
It would depend on whether the opponent was the attacker or defender of the goal line in question.
