You have to stand aside and the other team gets the ball
basiclly you are not allowed to have your arms raised in a defencive like position if you are within three feet of a player of the other team who is in posestion of the ball. if you do this is known as obstruction and you must stand beside the player who has the ball where the penalty occured and are out of play until the ball is thrown and the game continued.
when out of play you are not allowed to defend, talk or distract the other player in any way.
I had the same problem but it seems to help if you count to three before jumping so then you can accually complete a regetion or let them get held ball.
