While it is not prohibited, it is very dangerous to do so and not recommended. Fans are passionate about their teams; that is why tens of thousands show up. The last thing they want to see is you rooting for the other team; it ticks them off more than you can imagine.
There are many stories of fans getting beaten up, trampled, booed, hit, etc. due to them wearing another team's jersey. Unless you want to take the risk, do not attend a game wearing the opponent's jersey, especially if the two teams have an intense rivalry. Any child or young kid should not be taken to these games under most circumstances; danger could easily ensue for them as well as you.
