The skier will gain momentum as they travel down the hill but once the hill flattens out they will eventually slow down due to friction

You can't very easily ski uphill, but if it's a little one you can. What you do is get a lot of speed from a steep hill and at the bottom if there's a hill you should be able to get up!

They use a ski-lift. The ski-lift pulls them up-hill - against the force of gravity until they reach the top of the run. They then ski back down the slope.
No they don't. The force of the water against the front of the jet ski will stop it when you slow down. :)

Ski lessons are where you learn to ski.... At mine we skied down a hill, walked it up sideways, did the "Pizza", and learned how to stop. Basically you just learn how to ski.
