∙ 12y agothat is a dificult question to answer because it depends on a lot of things (build, speed, athletic ability, football ability, etc.) most likely if you're in high school you could play running back or DB for varsity with size or if you're a JV player you could be a tight end or linebacker. just from a size perspective that's the best answer i can give but like i said it dewpends on a lot of different things, not just size.

∙ 12y agoIt all depends on your age => your size compared to other players. That is tall for an 11-year-old, but relatively small for a fully grown male.
In general, smaller (faster and agile) players tend to play as wide receivers, cornerbacks etc., while the larger (slower, but stronger) players play the positions at the line of scrimmage. If you are very fast, but not a good catcher, playing as a safety could be your thing - that's a pretty underrated position.

∙ 14y agoBased STRICTLY on that info, you should be a DT or a Nose. If you have some speed, maybe a fullback or a linebacker.
Wiki User
∙ 14y agoDepends on your age. But if you are fast enough then running back, or full back are ideal positions.

running back
Q.B, running back, Wide Reciver
high school?.. sounds like you should try tight end.
Depending on which side of the ball you'd prefer to be on, either wide receiver or cornerback.
Doesn't matter as long as you are good and can play the position.
You should consider playing as an offensive or defensive midfielder if you are 16 weigh 140 pounds and you are 5'8.
Which American Football position would suit me best i weigh 175lbs
A safety in American football typically weighs between 190 to 220 pounds, but it can vary depending on the player and their position within the team.
A typical football used in American football weighs between 14-15 ounces, which is about 1 pound. So, a football does not weigh 2 ounces or 2 pounds.
