Unless I am mistaken, there is only one: Nick Saban, who won the BCS Championship at LSU (2004) and at Alabama (2009).

I don't know the complete list, but I do know that Michigan State was the first D-1 university to win two championships in both basketball and football. Florida is another one.

One can find out local varsity match coaches in many different ways. One can look on the schools sports websites, or just go to the school's website and contact a person.
Coaches show a team how to do things and were to go. Scouts go to colleges and high schools to find good players.
Eight NCAA D-1A teams have one national title. All eight did not have a tie in the season they won.
There are 119 NCAA Division 1-A football schools and 109 Division 1-AA football schools. There about 200 Division II and 200 Division III football schools and about 75 NAIA football schools. That makes around 700 and that doesn't include junior college football.
