โ 11y agoAdrian Dantly for the Buffalo Braves, The "Iceman" George Gervin wore #44 for 3 different team until 1986 where he wore #8 for the Chicago Bulls, "Pistol" Pete Marvich wore #44 four times, except for when he was with the New Orleans Jazz which then moved to Utah the next year and the 3 point specialist in Drazen Petrovic who's life was cut short due to an accident are all famous Basketball player to covet the #44 or their NBA jersey

โ 12y agoHall of Famers Henry Aaron of the Milwaukee/Atlanta Braves and Willie McCovey of the San Francisco Giants are two of the most famous Baseball players to wear the number. In fact, the two Mobile, Alabama natives tied for the 1963 National League home run lead with 44 each. Aaron won two other N.L. home run titles with 44 in 1957 and 44 in 1966.
