well yes and no it started off white then turned black
It means peace among the nations of the world.
The colours which ARE on the Olympic flag are Red Blue Green Yellow and Black on a White background. Any other colours than these are not on the Olympic flag.

The flag of Switzerland has a red background and white cross (+). The flag of Scotland, the Saltire, has a dark blue background and a white cross (X). The flag of Denmark has a red background and white cross (+).
The Saltire flag has a white cross with blue background to symbolise the crucifixion of Saint Andrew. The form of the cross on the flag is supposedly the same form of the cross that Saint Andrew was crucified on. Many other flags are inspired by the Saltire, like Jamacia and Albama.
