GK or goal keeper can go in their defensive third only, including the goal circle. they have to start the centre pass in the goal circle and should take majority of sidline/baseline passes in that third. if they go over the third line it is called offside. i hope that helped :)

GK stands for goal keeper. It is the GK's job to mark the GS (goal shoot). She must try to intercept when the GS is shooting or if GS passes. They are allowed no closer than 1 metre away from the GS. They are not allowed past the first third and they have to be in the oppositions scoring 'D' during the centre pass.

GK stands for goal keeper in netball. There are other positions such as WA which mean wing attack etc... It is the 'Goal Keeper'. They stand by the goal post and try not to let the opposing team get the ball near the goal. If the opposing team does get the ball, their job is to 'mark' the 'Goal Shooter' who would be trying to shoot. To 'mark' they stand at least 3 feet away from their opponent and streatch up their arms to block their view of the goal, making it harder to shoot and score. If the 'Goal Shooter' misses the goal then it is also the GK job to catch the ball when it comes down from near the goal, they can then pass it to their team, so they can get a goal up at the other end. The other positions in Netball are: C - cenntre WA - wing attatck WD - wing defence GA - goal attatck GD - goal defence GS - goal shooter GK - goal keeper

Who is allowed inside the 'D' on a Netball court?

When you mean 'D', I am assuming that you mean the semi-circle in your teams goal. If you are the only positions in netball allowed in the semi-circle are Goal Shooter (GA), Goal Attack (GA), Goal Keeper (GK), and Goal Defence (GD). Keep in mind that the GS and GA are only allowed in their goal semi-circle and the GK and GD are only allowed in the opposition goal semi-circle. Hope this helped :) Vicky
