when the balls hit into the air , you stay on base. when the outfielder or infielder touches it , or catches it , you can run.
Yes, you can tag up on pop flies. ANSWER yes
yes
Yes you can tag up and advance on a caught foul ball.
When the ball is hit up in the air and there is less than two outs
To tag a player out in softball, you can either tag them directly with the ball, or with the ball in your glove. It will not be called an out if you tag them with the glove with the ball in the other hand. When tagging a player, it is easier to straddle the bag, so you can easily get the tag down and make the out. You might want to look up videos on youtube for a visual example
a tag up is when the batter hits a pop-fly and the runner(s) on base must go back to the base touch it and then can continue to run. If they do not tag up they can be called out if they dont run back to the base.
It's when you strike out tag out or throw out
no
Yes unless they are on the base!
First base.
In softball a run is when you score.
when someone hits the ball and it is caught, the runner(s) on base can "tag" the base they are on once it is caught and then run to the next base. If they tag 3rd base and run home to score it is the tag run.
