It can be normal or a sign of a problem. If it is mild, helped with Tylenol or ibuprofen and goes away after a few days I wouldn't worry about it.
If it is severe, worsening, not getting better or associated with other signs like swelling, redness, shortness of breath or fever then you should see a doctor.
I would get it checked out imediately, I had sharp pain and it turned out to be minerals and calcium deposits building up. That is not the case for all people, it could be a tumor caused by cancer, or maybe your breasts are preparing themselfs to lactate? Hope this helps, and don't wait to go get it looked at, It could be serious!
Could be a number of reasons and we cannot determine that ON here I would suggest that you visit a doctor whenever you fee that pain for a couple of times for left chest/breast pains are normally considered alarming whether serious or not. Could be that the pain is coming from the muscles between the ribs known as the intercostals which is normal but quite uncomfortable or could be pain in the pectoral muscles which are the two large sheets of muscle that cover our chest/under the breast. For these two try massaging the muscles and refraining from using your left arm for heavy movements until it subsides.
It simply means it's time to see a doctor! Not trying to be a smartie pants!
This is usually musculoskeletal in origin (especially intercostal - involving muscles between the ribs). However, if it persists, it is important to consult your physician.
i don't think so. you should probably get that checked out by your doctor
i really do not know you should go to the doctors... i hope i helped you...x

Go to the doctor!
Sharp shooting pains in the breast during lactation can be letdown pain or vasospasms. Vasospasms can occur in response to injury or infection.
