Soccer goalies usually wear a goalie jersey which is usually bright and a different color than the team so they can tell who the goalie is. The wear regular atheletic shorts or padded goalie shorts or pants.(i prefer pants so you dont scratch up you knees real bad when you fall) they also wear padded goalie gloves so they can catch the ball easier. It is also a good idea to wear a mouthguard too
no they do not i am not sure if it is against the rules but i prefer not to because it gets in the way of my vision.
It all depends on how you touch them, if the goalie has possession, and if the goalie is dribbling the soccer ball.
A soccer goalie is not related to science. A soccer goalie is related to math because of all the angles he or she must cover.
No, a goalkeeper can wear any boot they want, there are no special boot designed for keepers.
Yes you can, Goalie or no goalie :)
i think that the best soccer goalie is iker casillas from Spain
So he can be distinguished from the rest of his players by, the players on the pitch, the referee and officials and the fans.
no the goalie is the leader on the soccer field
Iker Casillias
Gianluigi Buffon
The goalie
Yes, definitely. lots of ice hockey goalies wear two cups. A regular cup jock and then a special goalie cup over top of that. Usually the size and speed of the puck or ball being shot at the net determines wether a goalie would need to wear a goalie cup. Lacrosse and ice hockey goalies wear cups but soccer goalies generally dont wear a cup
Soccer goalie gloves differ from other sports athletic gloves because of the padding on the back of the glove to protect the metacarpals on the goalie's hand from breaking if the ball made contact with the back of the goalie's hand. These gloves are almost reminiscent of UFC training gloves except for the fact that the fingers are covered on soccer goalie gloves as well.
