What do you have to do to qualifey in NBA basketball?

Ultimately, the only requirement to be in the NBA is that you must be at least 19 years old and one year beyond your high school graduation date.

While many believe you have to take one year of college, this is not true. Some players, such as Brandon Jennings, decided to play one year overseas instead. A select few have decided to play in the D-League.

If your a good College Basketball player (or on rare occasion high school), NBA teams will look at you and can draft you in the NBA draft (when all the NBA teams pick players from college or highschool).
