Nothing. You will be faster, and will feel the paintballs more than with padding.
all of the public paintball fields will not let you do anything without a paintball mask baggy clothing. old jeans, long sleeve shirt, anything old that you dont mind getting dirty.
It depends on the type of paintball you will be playing. Woodsball- I would recommend all camo clothing. Usually hunting clothing is made to protect you from the elements so the insulation will absorb most of the impact. Speedball- This is personal preference. Most people use clothing that allows you to move without any restrictions. If you're looking for padding, I would say go with sweatpants and a sweatshirt. wear layers under your sweatshirt for extra padding. In speedball you rarely get hit in the legs so i don't wear layers on my legs.
Well...Paintball can hurt at sometimes. If you are a brand-new starter and have not played yet, wear maybe a sweatshirt and sweat pants. If you are anywhere between a intermediate player and a pro you should look into getting jersey, paintball pants, your own helmet, gun, hopper,HPA, etc...
You have to go to a licensed field and rent equipment. You MUST have a paintball specific mask to play. No welding helmets, riot helmets, sunglasses, air soft goggles, ski goggles, ballistic goggles, Only paintball specific masks. Other then that, many people just play in jeans and a tshirt.
About 3 inches thick of padding
