Marshall Mcdougal hit 6 home runs in 6 at bats in 1 game for Florida State Universtiy Dale Long and Don Mattingly each hit home runs in eight consecutive games. No major league has hit homers in 6 consecutive at bats. Four has been done a few times.

Wilbert Robinson went 7 for 7 on June 10th, 1892. This feat was also accomplished by Rennie Stennett on September 16th, 1975. Cesar Gutierrez also went 7 for 7 in a 12 inning game on June 21, 1970.
