Souvenir Baseballs, with Facsimile Autographs (Stamped) were Sold at ballparks across the country. These souvenir baseballs have been a fan favorite for decades, and is one of the first souvenirs kids get when they go to their first Major League Baseball game. Most of them have been used to submission, or the signatures faded over the years. But the few that make it through the years are desirable. Newer souvenir baseballs (1980's +) sell for $10-$15 Pre 1980's $20 - $35 and Pre 1970's as high as $100. Vintage souvenir baseballs featuring player like Mantle & Maris could sell for more. Other facsimile (stamped) baseballs could be premiums that were given away with Baseball gloves, or made available through special offers. These baseball will be worth more especially if it is accompanied with the original offer or advertising. In the 1950's Rawlings had an offer for a Mickey Mantle Baseball with a Facsimile Signature for $1.45. This baseball today sells between $250. $400. in its original package. Other examples of facsimile baseballs are salesman samples that were given away to dealers when they order a certain amount of goods. These baseballs typically have signatures of various all Star players of the era. I have included links to samples of these type of baseballs for you convenience.

What is the value of 1975 stamped team autographed baseball?

A 1975 New York Mets Team Signed Baseball with the key signatures: Staub, Kranepool, Kingman, Grote, Seaver, and Koosman is worth about $250.-$300. Value is based on average prices of recently closed auctions. Prices may vary based on condition, and the type of authenticity that accompanies the baseball. Prices may also vary based on the amount of signatures, and key signatures acquired. The more complete the baseball with key signatures the more valuable. If the signatures are not properly authenticated the baseball could sell at half the market value or less.

Do author signatures increase values of collectable books?

Author signatures do increase the values of collectible books. In some cases however, the author's signature is what makes the book collectible.

Would a baseball with the Reach logo on it be an authentic major league ball from the 1930s?

American League baseballs with the Reach Trademark had Red & Blue stitching, and the National League Spalding Trademark baseballs had Black & Red stitching up until about 1934/35 when in both league started using only red stitching. Reach was producing American League baseballs until Rawlings took over around 1970, and Rawlings have been making major league baseballs ever since.Your baseball could be dated by the name of the league president stamped on the baseball. Where can you find a guide that contains the values of autographed baseballs?

The best way to find current values on autographed baseballs would be to find auctions that have closed. Top auction houses like Heritage, and Leland's keep archives of past auctions. Goggle the baseball you are looking for and you will find others. eBay is a great place to find prices as well. Do a "Completed listings" search. I have a team signed baseball price guide on my website. This price guide is based on average prices of recently closed auctions. Prices may vary based on condition, and the type of authenticity that accompanies the baseball. Prices may also vary based on the amount of signatures, and key signatures acquired. The more complete the baseball with key signatures the more valuable. I will leave a link at the bottom of this page for your convenience.

What is the value of a 1956 Cincinnati Reds baseball with the whole team's authentic autographs on it?

According to the collector's price guide, "Team Baseballs," your ball is worth between $200-250, with value being greater or lower depending on exact players present - in particular, the inclusion or exclusion of Hall of Famer Frank Robinson - plus the all-important overall condition of the ball and autographs. These were not great years for the Reds, and values reflect that, but it was Robinson's "Rookie of the Year" season, and that's important. Other key factors include type of ball (is it an "Official National League" ball?), whether there are any "clubhouse signatures" (autographs signed for players by ballboys, attendants, etc), and total number of signatures present. These factors, plus the authenticity of all the significant signatures are the main variables in determining value.

Is there a value book for autographed baseballs?

Autographed Baseball Price GuideSee Related Links below for links to Team signed and single signed baseball price guides. Multi-signed baseball have to valued based on the combination of signatures that appear on the baseball. The value of the signatures cannot be added up to come up with a total. Multi-signed baseballs are valued as a whole, and how desired the signatures are as a group. If you need values for dual signed or multi-signed baseballs use Wikianswers to help find the value. Just include the signatures that appear on the ball in your question. You could also find closed auctions on line of compatible baseballs that have sold to find a value. What is the value of a baseball with signatures such as Jerry Remy Ted Williams Carlton Fisk Jim Rice and other Red Sox from the past?

The value of multi signed baseballs cannot be priced by the value of each signature added up. Multi signed baseballs are valued as a group of signatures, and how desired that group is as a whole. More often than not a multi signed baseball with a noted player, will sell for a lower value than a single signed baseball of that noted player. The Ted Williams signature is the key signature with the most value, and is worth about $350. -$600. on a baseball. Carlton Fisk a Hall of Famer, and Jim Rice who should be in the hall (soon) are both fan favorites in Boston and could add some value to the Ted Williams signature. The placement of these signatures will effect the price as well. If all three signatures can be displayed at once on the same side of the baseball with Ted Williams on the sweet spot it should have a higher value. Without knowing the other signatures it is hard to even estimate a value. To come up with a more accurate price you will have to find a similar baseball that has sold at auction. I will leave a link below for the prices of Boston Red Sox team signed baseballs. You might be able to find a more accurate value by comparing the signatures on your baseball with team signed baseballs with similar signatures. The page list year by year values based on auction selling prices, links to team rosters, and key signatures for each year. The more complete the baseball with key signatures the more valuable. Keep in mind that condition of the signatures will effect the price, and signatures that have not been properly authenticated could sell at half the market value or less.
