In Alaska there are much the same sports as there are elsewhere in the world. The best known ones are hockey, dog sled racing, and Cross Country Skiing. However, there is also soccer, tennis, horseback riding, ice-skating, football, Basketball, swimming, running, Track and Field sports, roller skating, rock climbing, hiking, ski-joring etc.
