First answer:

It's completely up to you, if you skate light and do more flips I'd recommend plan b, enjoi, 1031, or real. If you do more vert skating or tranny or big gaps, my favorite is krooked, but real is pretty good. If you skate all of the above? then real is pretty good.

My answer:

The brand of the skateboard has nothing to do with the kind of Skateboarding you do. What matters is the construction of the board, which includes the materials, the concave, and the shape. The young man above is answering based on the perception of those brands that HE has, not based on real facts.

There are many good brands names in skateboarding. I say "good," which is subjective, based on the following criteria:

1. The quality of the products that the company puts out, based on standards in the industry.

2. The standing that brand has within its group of peers.

A company's peers in the skateboarding industry are a great standard of measurement. I bring these criteria up simply to illustrate that the following brand names are not simply just brands that I like, but that they are brands that over time have consistently proven to be high quality, based on the skateboarding industry's standards.

None of the brands in the first answer are "wrong." Plan B, Enjoi, Real, Krooked, 1031. Those are all good brands. In addition, I would add these:
