A carry is the most commonly called hit. it is when you throw the ball or you set with the palms of your hands turned upward near your waist instead of towards the ceiling with your fingers spread. hope this helps!

to spike you hit it flat handed ( like your smacking the ball) or you can punch it over only if is very close to the net and the only possible way to get it over. or you can tip it over by using your finger tips and gently tap it over the net. or row shot it over by like hitting it like a V8 commercial does.

Well you're allowed to have an underhand serve, which is a serve where you just swing your arm back while taking two steps, then hit the ball. You hit the ball with your fist.

Then a side serve is pretty much the same except there's more power, and your arm is more at a 80 degree angle. You hit the ball with your fist.

Then an overhand (or overhead) serve is a serve where you take a couple of steps and hit the ball with your hand over your head. You can hit it with your fist or will your hand. I personally prefer using my hand.

Yes, it is. You can hit the volleyball with whatever part of the body you choose, as long as you are not catching, throwing, or lifting the volleyball up with your hands.

NO its not you can spike and set then i think there are a few others but kicking is not a legal hit.
