To start a game one of the players will take a free throw while the others get ready for a rebound. If the player makes it he gets another one until he misses. If he misses the players will try and make it anywhere on the court ounting as two while a free throw counts as one

Rules/regulations for 21.

• People start off by shooting, whoever makes it first, gets the ball.
• He/she will make free throws until he/she misses.
• When a player misses a free throw or regular shot anyone can get the rebound.
• When a player gets the rebound he/she CAN'T lay it up, they have to leave from under the goal to make it fair.
• When a player makes a shot it's worth one point, and he/she gets free throws until he/she misses.
• No jerseys/uniform needed.
• Two players or more can play.
• Every man/woman for his/herself (unless it's team 21).
• All ordinary traditional rules apply, you cannot double dribble or travel, whoever "calls it" gets the ball. So if someone catches you double dribbling or traveling, whoever shouts out "double dribbling!" or "Traveling!" first gets the ball.
• Whoever gets 21 points first wins.

The basic premise of the game is that you want to have a hand value that is closer to 21 than that of the dealer, without going over 21. Other players at the table are of no concern. Your hand is strictly played out against the hand of the dealer.

If you get the blackjack you will be paid 3 to 2 for your bet providing the dealer does not get one at the same time. If you and the dealer have blackjack it is a push. If only the dealer has blackjack all players will lose.

You are only allowed to touch the cards with one hand. If you're a Poker player, this can take some effort to break old habits! You must keep the cards over the table. Any cards that the dealer subsequently deals to your hand must be left on the table, not added to the cards in your hand.
