Two eagle twos doesn't mean anything. What's you actually question? Do you mean DOUBLE eagles?

I think the question refers to the odds of a player getting an eagle (2 under par) on two par 4's in the same round.

I had a similar question, which lead me to this site ... a colleague just informed me that her nephew scored 4 consecutive eagles during a round of Golf en route to shooting a 64, and I was wondering what the odds were for THAT accomplishment.

I had one 2 days ago, my forth. Odds are longer than getting a hole-in-one,

probably 1 1/2 times a harder because you have to hit one good shot and one great shot. I also have 7 holes-in-one so that's a 2 to one ratio. I know I'll get a hole-in-one this summer so that will perfect the ratio.

My son who attends a junior college and on the golf team was playing a round with two other members. He was the first to tee off and they thought the ball might have gone in, they checked and he did get a hole in one, they went back so the other two kids could tee off and the 3rd one also hit a hole in one. Two players same hole same time. Pretty rare I would say!

I depends on how good you are.

It isn't really a matter of probability.

A better question would be how many people ever got 3 eagles.

I'm guessing you got 3 eagles, for what its worth, that's better than I ever got :)

Although I'm pretty good at golf on the video game Wii.

Depends on how good the player is, how long and accurate he is off the tee, and how many drivable par 4's are on the course. If its a short par 70 and he can drive 6-10 par 4's then two eagle 2's wouldn't be that absurd. Now if he is shooting from 100+ out every par four approach, then the odds would be very very slim. Would need alot more details to do an actual statistical analysis, and no offense but im not putting in the research.

What are the odds of 18 holes in one in a round of golf?

Take the probability to get a hole in one (on the first try), and raise that probability to the 18th power. This is a rough estimate, since some holes are more difficult than others. The probability of getting a hole in one will obviously depend on the skill of the golf player.
