It is a matter of opinion. I have seen some nice gloves like the Cutters Yin Yang X40 Receiver Gloves or the Nike Vapor Jet 2.0 Receiver Gloves. They are both sharp gloves, but like I said it is a matter of opinion. You might be able to find a pair of sick nasty ill bed-ridden pair of gloves.
OBO generally have the higher quality gear of brands, and their best products in this area are the HiControl and HiRebound ranges. The HiControl are better for sliding and logging keepers, while HiRebound are shaped for standing goalies.
Going strictly on brand name, the best you can buy is Nokona. Very expensive but a great glove that will last forever. You can't just go on brand, though. You have to have a glove that fits you and does what you need it to do. That comes with trial and error.
There is no true answer to this question. Every goalie has a different preference on which gloves he or she likes to use. I prefer uhlsport, because they produce gloves with more flexible fingersaves. Adidas also produces very nice gloves, but they are a little to pricey and the fingersaves are so unflexible. I have also heard that sells makes decent gloves, but I have never owned a pair. You kinda just have to try out everything and see what you like best.

Soccer goalie gloves differ from other sports athletic gloves because of the padding on the back of the glove to protect the metacarpals on the goalie's hand from breaking if the ball made contact with the back of the goalie's hand. These gloves are almost reminiscent of UFC training gloves except for the fact that the fingers are covered on soccer goalie gloves as well.
