figure 8's u take the baton in your right hand and you pretend that you have vinilla ice-cream in front of you and chocolate in the back of you, you dip the baton in the vinilla fist then in thhe chocolate and repeate until you are able to do it faster that is the simpleist i can think of and that is what you learn first if you take lessons
