Cheerleading competitions are very complicated to explain. This is talking about All-star cheering. There are different event holders, such as SOFFEE (cheer short company) or ECDA(Eastern Cheer and Dance Association.) When a company decides it wants to be an event holder it holds it's own State competition, which will lead to it's National competition. For example, ECDA hold the Virginia State Championships, which lead to ECDA's The Final Destination. From a national competition, you can qualify to go to Worlds, hosted by cheerleading governing body, USASF.
