In most schools you can sign kids up when they're 5 or 6.
Where i go, if you reach the Black Belt level when you're under 15, you're given a probational black belt, which means when you turn 15, you can test for your 1st Dan Black Belt at the adult level.

No it's for any age group, as long as you are capable and able to keep up. ie. no injury's etc.. I set my classes at age 7, but allow younger children to 'try out' for the class. I've had 4 year olds that were very focused and a pleasure to teach, while there are others at age 10 that I've had to kick out of class. It is really a matter of combining their ability to focus and concentrate and not disrupt the rest of the class. As a teacher, I can't spend the entire time trying to keep one child in line while the rest are ignored.

Well... It depends on various factors/reasons:
* When did you started practicing karate? ...because some people start at 4, some at 14 or some can even at 34! So at what age you started as a white belt determines when will you become a blue belt.
* How good are you in karate? ...because if you aren't considered good enough by your teacher than he/she would not recommend to promote you.
* What are the rules followed by your community? ...Your coach should be working under some Karate-Do community/organization. Try to know about after how much time period do they allow the students to give the promotion examinations. Now calculate when will you be giving your next exam and you will come to know what will be your age at that time. Hope You'll find it useful.

That will depend on the specific style and the schools. Many offer a provisional or junior black belt before they reach the minimum age. In my school you have to be at least 14 to get a black belt.

There is no age limit. You can get a black belt whenever you are competant enough for the black belt grading test. This usually takes 3-5 years depending on the person.

Is there a case to keep all karate belts in for keepsake?

There are a number of items that can be used to display karate belts. Most are a sort of rack that the belts fit into them. Check a martial arts supply company online and you will find pictures and examples. They are fairly easy to make, and are fairly inexpensive.

My cousins and I are putting on a play about Karate. We don't have any Karate Belts or Uniforms. What can I use as a substitute for Karate Belts and Uniforms?

Honestly the best thing to do would be either to get a martial arts catalog (I prefer AWMA but Century would probably be easier to get) and order some from there or use Amazon. Using bath robes and cloth belts just looks dorky and unconvincing.
