Many teams have done so, but October 21, 1973, Fred Dryer scored 2 safeties for the Packers in the game against the LA Rams - the only single player to ever record 2 in a single game.
Safeties were common in the early years of football (pre 1950) when defense was king and single digit totals were common for game finals. Only 1 time since the late 1930's has a team scored 3 safeties in 1 game: in 1984 the Rams got 3 against the Giants (in 1 quarter - 2 blocked punts and 1 sack)
Fred Dryer is the answer. He was also TV's HUNTER. Frisky Dingo taught me that.
