Running Backs with 1,000 Yard Rushing SeasonsI don't think there is ONLY three running backs to have back to back 1000 yard rushing seasons, but if you need an answer then uh how bout Ladainin Tolminson, Emmit Smith, Barry Sanders Adrian Peterson

Not to mention Curtis Martin, Warrick Dunn, Thomas Jones, Marcus Allen, O.J. Simpson, Earl Campbell, Marshall Faulk. The list goes on and on.

Through the 2008 season, that has not happened.

Five NFL running backs have rushed for 2000+ yards in a season:

1) Eric Dickerson - 2105 yards for the Los Angeles Rams in 1984.
2) Jamal Lewis - 2066 yards for the Baltimore Ravens in 2003.
3) Barry Sanders - 2053 yards for the Detroit Lions in 1997.
4) Terrell Davis - 2008 yards for the Denver Broncos in 1998.
5) O.J. Simpson - 2003 yards for the Buffalo Bills in 1973.
