Controversial Dallas Cowboys linebacker Thomas Henderson, who played for the team from 1975 to 1979, called himself "Hollywood" because of his flamboyant style on and off the football field. His career with the Cowboys ended after he was caught on the Dallas sideline playing to a TV camera during a game the team was losing on national television.
Henderson battled drug problems during and after his career, and served 28 months in prison for drug-related misconduct. After that, he turned his life around and began lecturing people about the dangers of drug use. In 2000, he made headlines by winning a $28 million Lotto Texas jackpot. He has donated money to many charitable causes.
