Nevertheless, Germany did give money to Lenin and the Bolsheviks to help them stir up trouble and be disruptive to the Russian war effort if not touch off an outright revolution.Lenin and the Bolsheviks were accused of being German agents once word got out that he and the Bolsheviks were receiving money from Germany.
