Jim Brown started playing Lacrosse in junior high school, so he would have been about 12 or 13. He continued to play in high school, and of course at Syracuse. In his senior year at Syracuse in 1957, his team was undefeated.

Yes. Brown attended Manhasset High School on Long Island and played lacrosse, football, Baseball, Basketball, Water Polo, and ran track.

I am aware of 2 different uniform numbers. I have seen a picture with #76, and the Syracuse roster for 1957 has Jim Brown listed as #56
