Astoria High School, Astoria Oregon defeated Molalla High School, Molalla, Oregon 100 to 6 in September 1970.

On October 18th 2011, The Dalbe Viau Golden Eagles defeated The Selwyn House Gryphons by a score of 77-69. Making it the highest scoring football game in almost 100 years.

The longest High School football game ever played is now the game between two teams in Texas - the Nacogdoches Dragons and Jacksonville Indians. On October 29th, 2010, they went an amazing 12 overtimes before a winner was eventually declared. The fact that the game had playoff implications only added to the fervor.

The teams were tied at 28 at the end of regulation time. A dozen overtime sessions later, and the final score was 84-81 in favor of Jacksonville.
