Bowling is a general term for an activity/sport of rolling a ball on a green or down a lane towards an object or group of objects.

This includes the traditional (US) tenpin bowling. In tenpin bowling, a bowler stands on the approach and walks to the foul line and releases a ball over the foul line, down a lane/alley, towards a grouping of ten pins on a lane in a triange forment four in back, three in front of that, two in front of that, one in front. The player has two shots a frame to knock all ten pins down. There are ten frames total in a single game of bowling. If you knock all ten down in shot, it is called a strike. In two shots a spare. If you shoot a strike on the first ball in the tenth frame, you get two bonus, fill shots. If you shoot a spare in the tenth frame, you get one fill shot. If you shoot 12 strikes in a row, you have achieved a perfect game.

Usually, its a bowling ball hitting 3 pins, but sometimes you see just pins as a symbol. Or a guy/girl going up to roll a bowling ball. Basically anythig to do with the pins or ball.
