The St. Paul Saints are not affiliated with any MLB team. They are an independent team in the American Association, an independent league not associated with Major League Baseball. The farm team is called the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees. They are the Triple-A affiliate of the New York Yankees. The professional baseball club is located in Moosic, Pennsylvania.
In 2011, the team is located in Tuscon, Arizona and is known as the Padres.
The team derived its name from the song "When the Saints Go Marching In."
The WV Miners aren't affiliated with any MLB team. They are apart of the Prospect League, which is an Independent collegiate summer baseball league.
