Pretty much the same ones as you'd have now, with the exception of a lot of the Extreme Sports, many of which, in their current incarnations, were invented in the interim. You would have Skateboarding and, in fact, I believe, the first skateboarding revival--but you would not have Snowboarding. At least partially due to the match between Bobby Riggs and Billie Jean King, tennis became enormously popular. At least partially due to Dorothy Hammill's haircut, so did figure skating. The same could be said for Marc Spitz and his swimsuit. There's an important horse in here--maybe Secretariat?--that did the same for horse racing. And, of course, in some parts of the country, Roller Derby was still taken seriously.
The sports that were most popular in the United States in the 1970s were College Football, NFL football, Major League Baseball, NBA Basketball, and NHL hockey. Golf and tennis were also popular in the 70s.
