No, it should definitely not be banned in public places. Skateboarding is a hobby and entertainment for a lot of skaters, and banning it in public places will just get them to find another way to skate in that place

Added: There is NO definitive asnwer to this question - it is simply a springboard for heated debate between those who support the "sport" and those who find it destructive and disorderly. Many jurisdictions do have laws against it and it is, therefore, a settled issue that is not subject to any opinions expressed here.

Yes it should I'm not trying to complain, but lots of people could get injured. I skateboard all the time and I go to skateparks so I think other people can do the same.
