Probably the biggest negative effect on a persons body is unhealthy weight loss, common in women's gymnastics, track and field, and Wrestling. Steroid use and the use of performance enhancing drugs will also negatively effect an athlete's body.

Excercise can be good for your mind, it can make you feel good about yourself, but if you are obsessed with excercising, it can lead to anerexia, which can make you think that you are fat, when you are really skinny. Meaning that excercise can be both good and bad for your mind, depending on what you make of it.

Depending on where you play and who you play you may seem sad and weak, you may also feel as if you won't get better. Somepeople get motivated and work harder to get better and then they do get better with time
