Since both Golf clubs and balls are solids, the only damage can come if your garage floods.

Are your woods "old-school" (made of wood), or are they metal? Wooden clubs can split in the dry cold of winter.

With the cold damp air, the clubs can rust if not cleaned and dried after use, and you don't hit the ball as far in cold air. Cold dry air can impact the grips...causing the loss of friction or tack on the rubber and leather. Scientifically, cold air compresses and hot air expands, so it should be reasonable to assume that the hollow heads of our 460cc drivers will experience a slight loss of resiliency if played (ice cold) out of the trunks of our cars. But there should be no other problems.
