Is magic Johnson a christian and what kind?

Honestly, the only thing I could find online was that Magic's mother was a devout Christian. What leads me to believe that he is not is the fact that a true believer would constantly speak out about his/her faith. Magic, to the best of my knowledge, has never spoken out about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We, as Christians, have to remember that our world is dying and we have the responsibility and the privilege to bring it back to life through the message of the Gospel and the Power of the Holy Spirit, which is granted to us by the Resurrection of Jesus Christ.
