In WHOSE backyard?
If it is your own property there is no regulation against it providing you are not using it maliciously against another person or firing it at someone or something off of your property.
Yes as long as its on your own property and you are not hitting anything else not on someone elses property.. ie the tree over the fence.
It more so depends on your area. Obviously, an urban city like area would cause many problems. Though if you live in a wooded area, most counties do not care as long as you do not vandalize.
Yes and no. If it your property, usually yes, but laws are different from county to county. When in doubt you can call your local police station (not 911) and ask for an answer.

No. Because, in order for you to shoot them you would have to get their permission to shoot them. If you accidentally shoot somebody inside your backyard without their permission, it is their fault for being in the yard with someone that has a paintball gun and is shooting it in the first place.
No, as long as you only shoot at your property on your property.
i think so
This all truly depends on the area you are in. New Jersey has mostly urban cities, therefore it would be difficult to shoot it in your backyard without being unsafe. To make life easier, go to a paintball field.
Yes. As long as it is on your property and not shooting at anyone else's property.
It depends on your area. If you are located in a busy city or town, then it is not. However there is no problem with shooting your paintball gun in a wooded area.
Only if it is legal. :)
No
Yes, if you only shoot your property.
It's not legal.
If you only shoot your property, on your property you will be fine.
It depends on where your backyard is. If it's your backyard and you are in a rural area, you should be OK. But if you are in a less rural area, there may be laws against discharging projectile weapons like BB guns, arrows, and paintball guns.
