Good question. Riding no-hands is probably not illegal as such, but it can probably be seen as endangerment of others, due to the limitations in controlling the bike like that. And endangerment is always punishable regardless of how it's being done.
Depends on where you ride it.
If you're on the road, the law in most places calls for a bicycle to have brakes.
If you're in a skate/bike park, it won't be illegal, but if the rules for the park says that you should have brakes then you can get kicked out if you don't have them.
If you're on private property, and the owner of the propert doesn't care, then you can do as you please.
You can believe it or not ride a bike with only 1 brake, but you can't ride your bike on the road with 1 brake
Depends on where you're riding it. For riding in traffic/on public streets brakes are usually legally required. For riding in skate/bikeparks/racecourses you can do as you want.
The rules are not the same everywhere. Where I'm at, the legal requirement is to have a brake separate from the drive system.
