Yes that is good. most younger children cannot ollie above a foot.
Well, is it because you back foot is not far enough back on the tail. If that's not the prolem then try, when you pop your back foot make sure you hit the tail hard, then after slide other foot.
WELL, that's the reason that you slide your foot up when you ollie. If your problem is you're not getting high enough, then suck up both your legs to your chest after you pop and slide your foot up. Making new connections in your brain, like how to ollie, takes a lot of practice, so don't feel bad if you can't ollie well yet. It took me like 4 months to ollie high enough to ollie a curb! And it took me like 9 months to kickflip moving!
it is an ollie as long as all four wheels leave the ground
When starting skateboarding it is an acheivement to be able to perform an ollie but when you have been skating for ages you can expect to get higher because of the added practice, there is no such thing as a normal ollie is all to do with practice and level of skill. Hope i helped Matt
POP as hard as you can (meaning SLAM down your foot) then jump up high and at the same time roll your foot up the board to level it out
at least a foot long across, and a foot high. at least, 4 the ones that hang on the wall.
the key, is to stick with the board, don't jump too high. get the front foot in between the middle of the board and the front bolts then, once you place your foot their, ollie, and with a brisk flick of the foot, the board should do a full rotation, just remember to ollie high enuf so the board won't get away from you
How to do a Ollie:Have Your back foot on the tail. And your front foot just behind the front boltsCrouch down and while springing up pop the back of your foot down.Slide your front foot up and fell your self jump up highLet the board quickly follow your feet.Tips: If you are not satisfied you are going to land on your board and not fall, try it on the grass firsts. While on the grass if you are not confident that you understand how the board will go up in the air, do the steps of the Ollie but quickly jump off onto the grass and watch the board do its thing.and if u still cant do it try it on just a deck.

You have to stand on the board correctly and push your back foot down to make it pop the ground. At the same time jump as high as you can [must wear sk8 shoes or the board won't stick] and slide your right/left foot up to even the board and take it off the ground. Now you will roll away feeling proud. If you ollie high you can jump over obstacules such as stairs, boards, dogs, your neighbors, and the Great Wall Of China :)
I think 80" is standard-at least for the doors.
