It's a personal preference thing. Some downhill specific mountain bikes have a 24" tire in the back as opposed to a 26" tire because there's less rotational mass so it's a little easier to accelerate. The 24" rim is also stiffer and more durable than a 26" wheel.
But as you hit obstacles on the way down the hill, the 24" wheel can feel more harsh. Also, tight turns can feel a bit weird with two different size wheels. Another problem with two different sized wheels is that you have to have two different sized spare tubes and tires because if you get a flat, you'll never know ahead of time if it's going to be the front or back.

The Mitsubishi Montero is okay for offroad driving. It is by no means even close to being ideal for it. You're better off looking for a well equipped American built 4x4 Truck.
They aren't great on the road. They aren't great off the road. For light offroad with minimal mud, the Firestone Destination A/T is a far better choice. They are great on the road too.
downhill works better even though flat ground works too
Its all downhill from here bud.
Mountain dew
Bigger discs are better at shedding heat during hard braking and are also supposed to offer better modulation during hard braking than smaller discs.
Sound travels better at the foot of the mountain, because the air at lower altitudes is more dense than at the top of the mountain.
well i think mountain dew is better than mountain lighting because mountain lightning is made for to cry and get hurt so bad they are not going to be able to have kids for the rest of their life.
a nitro RC car is faster on street but if u want a nice jumping one then get a truck. *Offroad vs Onroad* Trucks last longer because they are built better...
I believe it's called "I could do something better with my life". By the band called Educationally Deprived. I think you can get the single at Wal-Mart.
The mountain itself is not any easier to climb but the clothing and equipment today is smaller, lighter and better built, making the climb more sucessful.
