Well, I think Cheerleading has both physical and mental side-effects. I have been cheering for five years now and I'm a base. My left arm was literally crumbling in on itself for a few months and the only sign was excruciating pain. There is also a lot of drama involved in cheer - more than any other sport in my opinion. My friend quit cheer because she was treated so badly that it caused her to sit in a corner at night and cry herself to sleep.
CHEERLEADING ALL THE WAY!
